I would like to salute Special Investigator Annemarie Lucas, my favorite ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement Agent! If you watch Animal Planet's "Animal Precinct" you'll be familiar with the gritty adventures in New York City as the awesome agents find dogs, cats and many other kinds of animals in peril, mostly caused by their owners who either neglect or hurt them. Neglect or hurting an animals are both condsidered animal cruelty and there are alot of animals that need help out there! That's where Annemarie Lucas and all the rest of the ASPCA's agents come in. Being a woman that's passionate about animals, I love to see to see a tough, cool, pretty woman that puts "bad guys" that hurt animals to justice! You go girl! | As a child, her dream was to help animals and to join the "Animal Police" to stop people from being mean to our four-legged (and sometimes winged and feathered) friends. At the time there was no such thing as the animal police yet! It was like she could see into the future because look at her now! Passionate about helping animals she started off as a volunteer in an animal shelter. Annemarie Lucas became one of the ASPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Officers, each day defending the voiceless!!!
