TEAM-UP OF THE CENTURY
SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR ANNEMARIE LUCAS AND SPECIAL AGENT JOANN SANDANO
This is something that I've always wanted to do, to pay tribute to that dynamic duo: Special Investigator Annemarie Lucas and Special Agent Joann Sandano. Some of my all-time favorite Animal Precinct episodes are when Lucas and Sandano are partnered up. I love their synergy and rapport, they are one heck of a team. They are compassionate and caring and they are also tough and no-nonsense. They are the "good guys" they slap the cuff onto the wrist of the uncaring, neglectful owner!!! Watch out, Bad guys! When Annemarie Lucas and Joann Sandano are out on the beat you can be sure that the animals of New York City are safer than ever!!!

WHEN I SEE THESE TWO IN ACTION I'M GLAD THAT I'M ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS!

I love it when they occasionally say the same thing at the same time (I get tickled pink!), I get the impression that they really love working together because that happens when my sister and I talk to each other.
Below: Before and after: The picture on the left shows a poor dog in the condition that Lucas and Sandano found her, covered in ticks, the life being drained out of her, and there she is on the right, a few weeks later...
Poor dog! The owner got arrested for leaving her in this condition!
I love this pastoral scene of Lucas and Sandano with Sheila, the rescued German Shepard (who now lives in a big house with lots of land to run around on!).

Under arrest for animal neglect, his excuse? "I didn't have enough money to take him to the vet"

Lucas' reply: "well you have alot of money on you right now".
"Hold it!"

The perpetrator knows he's been spotted- Sandano springs into action!
